On afternoon August 28th 2017 I went to Jakarta city to transit because tomorrow morning I would go to Harbin. I through the long and heavy journey, I flight by Xiamen air. My flight started in Jakarta-Xianmen-Nanjing-Harbin. Jakarta to Xianmen, I flight for six hours and waiting for continuing 2 hours. From Xianmen to Nanjing I flight for 3 hours and when I arrived in Nanjing, I though the city is Harbin, because in my ticket just wrote Jakarta-Xianmen-Harbin. I opened my ticket from my bag and saw that written was different. I asked the man and they can not to speak in English, they just given information using their body that I must go back in air plane. But, it was plane not a ship or but, I must check in again. I was accompanied by woman who work in airport. She and I run fast, we must be quickly and the plane had to flight just waiting me. I until in the plane and the pramugari said the plane will be flight now. I am very exhausted. In the plane she (Pramugari) gave me a food, and I asked her, what is this? She said it is a fork. I said oh No, I change the food for her and she went back and give me halal food. I said: Alhamdulilah xie xie.
At 10.12 p.m, on August 29th 2017 I arrived in Harbin. The weather is very cold 100C and all passengers were run. I also run to but the people look forward me they asked to take picture with me, because I’m differ. In my heart, I said oh I am foreign here and am cackle alone.hehehheheh
In Harbin airport I confused because I did not see the man who can pick up me, after 20minutes the woman up the paper and wrote Sastrianawati Indonesia. I went to them and I said Alhamdulillah you pick up me here. Thank you very much, what is your name, she said my name is Nathalinda Nainggolan you can call me Nata. I saw she not used veil and my heart said she is not moslem. I was invited by her in the 515 dorm in Harbin 1 apartment.
In the 515 room there was a girl from Mongolia. In my mind the people from Monggo was cruel because they were moeslim enemy. But I don’t care I just cleaned my self and took a rest. In the morning I tide up my clothes that I brought from Indonesia. I registered in the 113 room and I backed in my room and took a rest because I am very exhausted. Before, I sleep my roommate came in our room with her friends. She also from Monggolia too. She introduced her self to me and I am happy have a new friends. But I don’t know why? In the afternoon I’ve just woke up from my rest, Nata woke up me and said, sister, you must move from this room. I said what are you telling about me? I just woke up and you said like that. She explained to me that my roommate dislike to live with me, because she was uncomfortable because I am moslem. I move in that day and cleaned the room. It was very dirty, I closed my nose and little by little I can breath with well.
For 5 days, I have been living in 425 room, suddenly my roommate was coming 12.00 pm. She was from Rusia, she is beautiful and tall. Her name is IANA. She also sang song for me “welcome in harbin” it is the title of the song. She created alone and she has kindly, polite, and miss me. She came in the 425 room while I was typing Journal for my Boss in campus. That is my story.
